All Carisma CRSO fan coils with centrifugal fans are equipped with electric motors which reduce electrical consumption comparative to previous models, with 5 speed motors as standard offering greater flexibility in the selection of products. New market trends have also led to an extension of the four pipe model which now has a two row LTHW battery giving improved outputs at lower flow and return temperatures. A full range of control options is available including the Free patented wireless control offering greater flexibility in the installation of units, with the highest precision in monitoring and maintaining the desired comfort conditions. The Carisma CRSO model is complemented with a full range of options and accessories covering items such as electrical heating battery, air inlet/outlet diffusers and condensate pumps.
The innovative brushless and sensorless type synchronous electronic motor with permanent magnets, is controlled by an inverter board designed and developed in Italy. The board is mounted on the unit, closed to the motor, without the need to be cooled down by the air flow. The air flow rate can be varied in continuous by means of a 1-10 V signal generated by Sabiana controls or by independent control systems. The continuous air flow control improves the acoustic comfort and allows a more punctual reply to the variation of the thermal loads and a greater stability of the requested ambient temperature. The extreme efficiency, also at low speed, makes possible a great reduction in electric consumption (less than 50% in comparison to CRS range motor) with absorption values under normal operating conditions that do not exceed 50 Watt The full compliance with the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive and with the other severe Standards in force is certified by an independent institute. The CRS-ECM series with centrifugal fans comes in 3 sizes (from 350 to 1450 m3/h), each equipped with 3 or 4 row coil and with the possibility to add a 1 row coil for 4 pipe systems (2 rows on demand). It is perfect to meet all air-conditioning requirements of work environments like offices, shops, restaurants and hotel rooms featuring ducted installations with available pressure up to 80 Pa.
The MAESTRO fan coil units are for concealed installation and connection to a duct system. They supply a consistent air flow with static pressure up to 150 Pa. The MAESTRO Fan Coil Units are manufactured in 5 sizes for hot water supply (11-42 kW) and chilled water supply (4-16 kW).
Thanks to the particular air handling section, Carisma Coanda cassette units generate an air flow with a "coanda" effect. The unit is suitable for installation in a suspended ceiling. Air intake is from the bottom while the air supply is parallel to the ceiling through practical and functional intake and outlet grids. The "coanda" effect creates excellent circulation of the air inside the room.
Ec motors allows the decrease of electric consumption by more than 50% compared to traditional asynchronous motors. They enable to control the air flow continously and the ambient temperature with precision, with further benefits in terms of very low noise levels thanks to the reduced average working speed. Every unit can be supplied with 1 coil (two pipe system) and possibly an electric heating system, or with 2 coils (four pipe system) with one or two rows, for water supply at a low temperature. Fresh air can be mixed with room air. A condensate pump may also be supplied as an accessory.
In addition to the conventional temperature and speed control systems, there is also the possibility to control operation of each unit through a single remote with central supervisor software installed on a PC (Sabianet).

The fresh air can be mixed with the ambient air and distributed into separate rooms. All the sizes have 6 speed fans, with 3 speeds connected electrically, so as to extend operating flexibility even during the commissioning of the installation. The condensate drain pump is very silent and has a maximum discharge head of 650 mm. As well as the traditional temperature and speed control systems, the fan speed can be varied automatically, multiple units can be managed from just one control panel, and the control board for each unit can be installed in a remote position as to simplify service operations. In addition, each unit can be managed by remote control. The units can also be controlled by the most common building management and supervision systems. Finally, various types of valves are available (two and three way, 24 V, modulating 0-10 V).
Carisma Fly is the high wall fan coil unit designed and manufactured in Italy by Sabiana, in 4 sizes and many different models. Fly is easy to install like a standard fan coil: without decreasing the emission and without any extra frame, 2 way or 3 way valves and condensate pump can be mounted into the casing. The modern and appealing design of the unit in RAL 9003 colour allows the use of Fly in any environment. Fly is available with standard AC motors or low energy EC motors and in the following versions: with wired wall control, infra-red remote control, MB electronic board for Modbus management and electric heating coil. The units are for 2 pipe installations only. All the Fly models perform very low electric consumption and extremely quite sound levels according to the request of today’s new projects.
The range of MELTEMI SABIANA air curtains offers maximum flexibility in the protection of doors and open access compartments. Available in fan only versions, with water coils and electric heaters, Meltemi air curtains are offered in 3 different versions, according to the installation high: from 2,5m to 4,5m, also recessed, and with lengths of 1, 1,5 and 2 m. Possible applications include civil, commercial and industrial environments.
Their versatility means that the individual units can be joined to form a single air curtain of the desired length to protect wide openings. Each unit can be operated by remote control or by supervision systems using a Modbus communication protocol. All the units are supplied with low energy consumption electronic motors. A large variety of control and regulation accessories is available.

Carisma CFR fan coils were designed to meet the frequent requirement in homes of combining the typical qualities of radiators, such as reduced depth and quiet operation, with the typical quality of fan coils for controlling the climate in environments all year round with a high comfort air outlet temperature. They are available into main versions: with front radial panel or with front panel for covering only.

In other words, the advantages of a form of air-conditioning that uses natural fluids, with low energy consumption, combined with the benefits of an almost non-existent visual impact. The recessed Breeze kit by Carisma is available in 3 sizes and allows for the recessed installation of Carisma fan coils on the wall.

Up to 60 (cassette/fan coil units) can be installed in series, managing them with a single intelligent wall-mounted control, by using the serial communication possibilities of the appliances.
Set the operation conditions and modes of each individual connected appliance, the switch-on and off time bands for each day of the week and display the operation conditions of each individual appliance from the wall-mounted control(the program
can be set for all equipment or for a maximum of two groups of equipment).
Two or more intelligent wall-mounted controls are required if connecting more than 60 units. Each unit must be equipped with an MB card. More appliances, with a maximum of 60 units (RS 485 serial connection maximum development of 800 metres) can be managed with the PSM-DI panel, from a single control point.
InoxSabiana GE 25 and 50 series is the result of an innovative design aimed to obtain a high quality, versatile and easy to assembly product. The choice of materials, use of the advanced construction techniques, the care paid to each accessory, European standard 305/2011 compliant, the continuous product and production process control assure absolute reliability of the Sabiana Flues. Stainless Steel AISI 316L inner wall is 0,5 and 0,6 mm thick, while outer wall is made of Stainless Steel 0,5 mm thick or alternatively copper, 0,6 mm thick. Assembly between elements is executed by quick fit type flange with a nipple: the mechanical seal is achieved by Vee bend on the inner wall of the flue system. The insulation is rock wool with minimum density of 90 kg/m3 or needled rock wool 25 and 50 mm thick. The longitudinal welding of the inner and outer wall of each element is microplasma while the 90 ° tee is achieved through a deep drawing process that avoids the welds. All non-insulated elements are in stainless steel AISI 304 (aluminum adjustable flashing and storm collar). Moreover, thanks to the implementation of an innovative fixing system , the thermal bridge between inner and outer wall is reduced to a minimum. Carisma Multizone is an advanced air distribution system intended for applications in residential or small commercial areas, suitable for centralised systems with the need to adjust the comfort of every room to individual needs. It can be applied on ducted Carisma CRSO and Carisma CRS-ECM fan coils.
The system is fitted with an electronic control that can manage different temperatures through variable
air flow rates in each air-conditioned area. The system is equipped with an electronic control that can manage different temperatures and air flow rates in each air-conditioned area.
Thanks to the available controls, one can have a separate programming for the various areas; the system can also be interfaced with Modbus supervision systems.
The motorised dampers are modulating devices with adjustable stroke and managed by the electronic control.
The plenum is delivered with all its components (power board, regulator for asynchronous motor or ECM and motorised dampers) already assembled.
The plenum and Fan Coil are equipped with quick-coupling terminal blocks.
A wall-mounted controller flush with Multizone (also serving as an area sensor) must be provided for each system, plus a flush area Sensor for every area up to 4 per system (5 areas in total considering the wall-mounted controller flush with Multizone). The connection between the Plenum, wall-mounted controller and zone sensors must be carried out with the Multizone communication cable.
The high-performance heat recovery units of the Energy Plus series units have been designed to allow you to save energy in the ventilation systems of public and private premises, such as bars, restaurants, offices, shops, etc. They allow you to recover heat from the exhaust air and transfer it to the air introduced into the environment.
The heat exchange between the exhaust air and the intake air takes place through a static heat exchanger with countercurrent flow, sized to obtain a heat recovery up to 94%.
The Energy Plus series includes 4 sizes suitable for horizontal installation and covers a range of flow rates from 300 to 2600 m3/h. The units are available both in the version for installation on ceilings and the floor-mounted version.
The Energy Plus units are ERP 2018 and therefore comply with the regulatory requirements of the European Ecodesign Directive (EU Regulation 1253/14). The checks are related to both heat recovery energy performance and the intrinsic energy consumption parameter SFPint in the nominal conditions declared by the manufacturer.
