In line with innovative trends and modern industrial design, the Carisma fan coil range meets today’s demanding requirements of performance, size, acoustics, low energy, ease of installation and maintenance.
The Carisma fan coil unit has been designed around a platform of models, versions and accessories, all of which have been independently tested and certified by Eurovent.
Designed around 5 different versions, the extensive range includes wall and ceiling mounted units, exposed or concealed with either tangential or centrifugal fan options, delivering one of the most versatile ranges of fan coils on the market today.
All CRC fan coils with centrifugal fans are equipped with electric motors which dramatically reduce electrical consumption of up to 40% comparative to previous models, with 6 speed motors as standard offering greater flexibility in the selection of products.
New market trends have also led to an extension of the four pipe model which now has a two row LTHW battery giving improved outputs at lower flow and return temperatures.
As a special option, the Carisma range can be fitted with the Crystall patented electrostatic filter featuring a class D rating according to standard UNI 11254 which equals a traditional mechanical filter of up to F9 without dramatically affecting static pressures.
A full range of control options is available including the Free patented wireless control offering greater flexibility in the installation of units, with the highest precision in monitoring and maintaining the desired comfort conditions.
The Carisma model is complemented with a full range of options and accessories covering items such as electrical heating battery, air inlet/outlet diffusers and condensate pumps.
The CRC series with centrifugal fans comes in 5 versions, 9 sizes, 18 models with single coil and 27 models with double coil, with air flow-rates ranging from 100 to 1500 m3/h, heat outputs from 1 to 17 kW and cooling capacities from 1 to 8 kW.
Carisma CRC-ECM
The ECM range makes use of the excellent experience gained with the Cassette fan coils with inverter board, first in the world in production since 2009, and which have had great success on all markets.
The innovative brushless and sensorless type synchronous electronic motor with permanent magnets, is controlled by an inverter board designed and developed in Italy. The board is mounted on the unit, closed to the motor, without the need to be cooled down by the air flow.
The air flow rate can be varied in continuous by means of a 1-10 V signal generated by Sabiana controls or by independent control systems. The continuous air flow control improves the acoustic comfort and allows a more punctual reply to the variation of the thermal loads and a greater stability of the requested ambient temperature.
The extreme efficiency, also at low speed, makes possible a great reduction in electric consumption (less than 50% in comparison to CRC range motor) with absorption values under normal operating conditions that do not exceed 16 Watt
The excellent values of the CRC range in terms of sound levels have been maintained in all working conditions, without any resonance phenomenon at any frequency.
The full compliance with the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive and with the other severe Standards in force is certified by an independent institute.

The Carisma CRR range with tangential fan combines a reduced dimension (183mm depth) with a modern aesthetic that perfectly suit with any kind of furnishing, while maintaining great performances in terms of sound and consumption.
The CRR series comes in vertical for wall installation with 4 models with single coil and air flow-rates ranging from 110 to 500 m3/h, heat outputs from 0,8 to 3,6 kW and cooling capacities from 0,6 to 2,8 kW.

The Carisma CRSO fan coil unit has been designed around a platform of models, versions and accessories, all of which have been independently tested and certified by Eurovent.

The CRS-ECM series with centrifugal fans comes in 3 sizes (from 350 to 1450 m3/h), each equipped with 3 or 4 row coil and with the possibility to add a 1 row coil for 4 pipe systems (2 rows on demand).
It is perfect to meet all air-conditioning requirements of work environments like offices, shops, restaurants and hotel rooms featuring ducted installations with available pressure up to 80 Pa.
Maestro Ducted
The MAESTRO fan coil units are for concealed installation and connection to a duct system. They supply a consistent air flow with static pressure up to 150 Pa. The MAESTRO Fan Coil Units are manufactured in 5 sizes for hot water supply (11-42 kW) and chilled water supply (4-16 kW).
Carisma Coanda CCN - CCN-ECM
Thanks to the particular air handling section, Carisma Coanda cassette units generate an air flow with a "coanda" effect. The unit is suitable for installation in a suspended ceiling. Air intake is from the bottom while the air supply is parallel to the ceiling through practical and functional intake and outlet grids.
The "coanda" effect creates excellent circulation of the air inside the room.
Ec motors allows the decrease of electric consumption by more than 50% compared to traditional asynchronous motors. They enable to control the air flow continously and the ambient temperature with precision, with further benefits in terms of very low noise levels thanks to the reduced average working speed.
Every unit can be supplied with 1 coil (two pipe system) and possibly an electric heating system, or with 2 coils (four pipe system) with one or two rows, for water supply at a low temperature. Fresh air can be mixed with room air.
A condensate pump may also be supplied as an accessory.
In addition to the conventional temperature and speed control systems, there is also the possibility to control operation of each unit through a single remote with central supervisor software installed on a PC (Sabianet).
Skystar - Skystar ECM
Innovative and fascinating design, seven different models, high control flexibility, ease of maintenance: the SKYSTAR water cassette is the result of significant technical and design research focused on providing an avant-garde product in terms of performance, low noise and control flexibility.
SkyStar ECM series uses an innovative brushless electric motor controlled by an inverter card that varies the air flow continuously by means of a 1-10 V signal generated by Sabiana controls (version SK-ECM-IR) or by independent contollers (version SK-ECM). The extreme efficiency, also at a low speed, makes possible a great reduction in electric consumption (more than 75% less in comparison to a traditional motor) with absorption values, under normal operating conditions, that are no greater than 10 Watt in the entire range.
The dimensions of the first sizes are designed to fit into 600x600 mm false-ceiling modules, while the larger sizes, measuring 800x800 mm, stand out for their low noise and the excellent price-performance ratio
Each model can be supplied with a single coil (two pipe system) and electric heater, or with two coils (four pipe system). The fresh air can be mixed with the ambient air and distributed into separate rooms. All the sizes have 6 speed fans, with 3 speeds connected electrically, so as to extend operating flexibility even during the commissioning of the installation.
The condensate drain pump is very silent and has a maximum discharge head of 650 mm.
As well as the traditional temperature and speed control systems, the fan speed can be varied automatically, multiple units can be managed from just one control panel, and the control board for each unit can be installed in a remote position as to simplify service operations. In addition, each unit can be managed by remote control. The units can also be controlled by the most common building management and supervision systems. Finally, various types of valves are available (two and three way, 24 V, modulating 0-10 V).
Carisma Fly
Carisma Fly is the high wall fan coil unit designed and manufactured in Italy by Sabiana, in 4 sizes and many different models.
Fly is easy to install like a standard fan coil: without decreasing the emission and without any extra frame, 2 way or 3 way valves and condensate pump can be mounted into the casing.
The modern and appealing design of the unit in RAL 9003 colour allows the use of Fly in any environment.
Fly is available with standard AC motors or low energy EC motors and in the following versions: with wired wall control, infra-red remote control, MB electronic board for Modbus management and electric heating coil.
The units are for 2 pipe installations only.
All the Fly models perform very low electric consumption and extremely quite sound levels according to the request of today’s new projects.
Floor CCP-ECM
Carisma Floor CCP-ECM fan coils represent a combination of innovative aesthetics and functionality in an air conditioning system. They are designed to efficiently heat, cool and ventilate buildings with large windows or doors. The wide range of models includes solutions which can be customised depending on architectural requirements with diffusion grids in a variety of materials and colours. All the units are supplied with low energy consumption electronic motors. A large variety of control and regulation accessories is available. Floor fan coils are used inside private homes, on verandas, in public offices and buildings and in exhibition and commercial areas. Carisma CFR/CFR-ECM
Carisma CFR fan coils were designed to meet the frequent requirement in homes of combining the typical qualities of radiators, such as reduced depth and quiet operation, with the typical quality of fan coils for controlling the climate in environments all year round with a high comfort air outlet temperature. They are available into main versions: with front radial panel or with front panel for covering only. In winter, the first solution provides both a convective and radiant thermal exchange, further improving the feeling of well being. All models can be supplied with low energy consumption electronic motors. On demand, recessed versions, horizontal ceiling mounted versions and 4-pipe systems are available for installation in non-residential buildings. 4 sizes are available, with: - air flow rates from 100 to 575 m3/h - heating yield from 0.64 to 4.10 kW - cooling yield from 0.38 to 3.31 kW
Carisma Breeze
The need to combine functionality with practicality and aesthetics led to the creation of Breeze, a recessed kit designed for Carisma CRC and Carisma CRR fan coils. With Breeze, the fan coil literally 'disappears' into a niche of the wall and you can cover it with a panel that can be painted with your colour of choice, so that it is completely invisible. In other words, the advantages of a form of air-conditioning that uses natural fluids, with low energy consumption, combined with the benefits of an almost non-existent visual impact. The recessed Breeze kit by Carisma is available in 3 sizes and allows for the recessed installation of Carisma fan coils on the wall. The Breeze solution is available for: CRC-IV in the following sizes: 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6 and CRR-IV in the following sizes: 2 – 3 – 4 The recessed box is made of galvanised sheet metal and has suitable openings to facilitate the electrical and hydraulic connection of the fan coil. Electronic controls For vertical fan coils the ambient temperature can be controlled through the use of electronic thermostats installed on board with different solutions depending on needs. The range of controls includes versions for the manual or automatic control of ventilation, control of the water valves or electric resistance, manual/centralised/automatic summer/winter switching. There are versions to control the asynchronous motor and versions to control the inverter electric motor. Wall-mounted electronic controls For fan coils and cassettes the ambient temperature can be controlled through the use of wall-mounted electronic thermostats with different solutions depending on needs. The range of controls includes versions for the manual or automatic control of ventilation, control of the water valves or electric resistance, manual/centralised/automatic summer/winter switching. There are versions to control the asynchronous motor and versions to control the inverter electric motor. Control and supervision panel for PSM-DI terminal units. Up to 60 (cassette/fan coil units) can be installed in series, managing them with a single intelligent wall-mounted control, by using the serial communication possibilities of the appliances. Set the operation conditions and modes of each individual connected appliance, the switch-on and off time bands for each day of the week and display the operation conditions of each individual appliance from the wall-mounted control(the program can be set for all equipment or for a maximum of two groups of equipment). Two or more intelligent wall-mounted controls are required if connecting more than 60 units. Each unit must be equipped with an MB card. More appliances, with a maximum of 60 units (RS 485 serial connection maximum development of 800 metres) can be managed with the PSM-DI panel, from a single control point.
Comandi Ventilconvettori
Centralised control system for the management of a network of fan coil units and Cassette units with an electronic interface card (MB series) installed on them. Consisting of a hardware unit, box PC with Linux operating system and a pre-installed management software program. Network supervision function with the option of defining weekly operating programs and special programs for groups or individual units, with visualisation of data related to the log and any alarms. The system communicates with the MB network cards through a RS485 serial line Carisma Multizone is an advanced air distribution system intended for applications in residential or small commercial areas, suitable for centralised systems with the need to adjust the comfort of every room to individual needs. It can be applied on ducted Carisma CRSO and Carisma CRS-ECM fan coils. The system is fitted with an electronic control that can manage different temperatures through variable air flow rates in each air-conditioned area. The system is equipped with an electronic control that can manage different temperatures and air flow rates in each air-conditioned area. Thanks to the available controls, one can have a separate programming for the various areas; the system can also be interfaced with Modbus supervision systems. The motorised dampers are modulating devices with adjustable stroke and managed by the electronic control. The plenum is delivered with all its components (power board, regulator for asynchronous motor or ECM and motorised dampers) already assembled. The plenum and Fan Coil are equipped with quick-coupling terminal blocks. A wall-mounted controller flush with Multizone (also serving as an area sensor) must be provided for each system, plus a flush area Sensor for every area up to 4 per system (5 areas in total considering the wall-mounted controller flush with Multizone). The connection between the Plenum, wall-mounted controller and zone sensors must be carried out with the Multizone communication cable.

Carisma CRR ECM
The Carisma CRR-ECM fan coils combine a beautiful design with performance in terms of sound level and energy consumption particularly interesting.
Carisma CRR-ECM is proposed in the MV wall version and in built-in IV version; the MV version have restrained dimensions (only 183 mm deep) with a modern aesthetic that integrates very well with the furnishing of any
ambient, maintaining excellent performance in terms of noise and consumption.
The ECM series makes use of the exceptional experience gained with the fan coils with inverter board in production since 2009, which have been very successful in all the markets they have been proposed.
The innovative brushless synchronous electronic motor (without brushes) and sensorless (without sensors) with permanent magnets is controlled by inverter board, designed and developed in Italy. The board is installed directly on the unit, in
proximity of the engine, without need to be cooled with additional air flow.
